In keeping with our team effort to be as fit as possible for the upcoming season our very own Duane Farrell has put together a training schedule which you can download as a PDF file HERE.
Our thanks to Duane for taking the time to put this together and further enhancing our already great start with Tuesday training. This schedule outlines a daily routine using little in the way of equipment, and yet is designed to maximize our fitness if followed and done with effort.
If you have any questions regarding the schedule or any of the exercises please contact Duane at Duane.Farrell@forces.gc.ca
In addition, our very own Tyson Staples has made available a sprinting program for those of you who love to run. This is a great way to train for the game of rugby, by doing a sprint followed by a period of recovery and repeating, known as interval training. Studies have shown that this can be the one of the most effective ways to reach your top fitness level in the shortest amount of time. You can download the PDF file here.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Tyson at email@example.com
A reminder indoor training continues Tuesday evenings starting 9pm at Stephen Leacock Community Centre, located at 2500 Birchmount Rd just north of Birchmount and Sheppard.
