The Buccaneers Rugby Club play and celebrate rugby in the spirit it was intended. We are fiercely competitive on the pitch and very hospitable off of it. We offer potential sponsors numerous opportunities to raise their brand awareness with our membership and supporters.
Founded in 1976, the Buccaneers Rugby Club is an amateur sports club and a proud member of the Toronto Rugby Union playing their home games out of Sunnybrook Park.
The Buccaneer’s diverse membership enables sponsors to reach a wide cross-section of the marketplace. The club currently consists of approximately 70 players and social members, Old Boys and their families. The Buccaneers currently field two men’s sides in the Toronto Rugby Union.
With significant expenditures on athletic equipment, supplies, grounds fees and social functions, our corporate sponsors are vital to the growth and success of the club.
All donations to the Buccaneers Rugby Club will be used for the development of our game including: a junior program, coaching clinics, equipment, recruiting and training facilities. The Buccaneers Rugby Club greatly appreciates each and every sponsor.
All sponsors will receive:
- Company logo on team jerseys (see below for more details)
- Company logo and website link on the Buccaneers website.
- Invitations to special events.
- Special recognition on our website and newsletters.
- Opportunities to distribute promotional items (or make a brief announcement about your company) at home matches
